Kids are invited to a joyful 2-hour painting workshop led by artist Mauricio Cortes . Together, we’ll Learn about native flowers that thrive in New York City—like Milkweed, Black-eyed Susan, and Goldenrod—and explore what they teach us about courage, renewal, and community. Kids will create colorful flower paintings celebrating nature’s strength and creativity.
This workshop is part of a collaborative project with ArtBridge, artworks made will be contributed to a large-scale public mural designed by Mauricio to be installed in Battery Park City in March 2026.
